Can Account Resolution Team Sue Me or Garnish My Wages?

It is illegal for a collections company to make empty threats to sue you or garnish your wages. Account Resolution Team would most likely choose not to sue if they cannot verify your debt or you may not owe said debt. In other circumstances where this is not the case, it is not uncommon for debt collection agencies to summon debtors to court and garnish wages after a default judgement. If you find yourself in a similar situation, the wisest option would be to contact an attorney preemptively to ensure the safety of your assets and rights. Lemberg Law has helped thousands of consumers fight back against these cases of fraudulent collection practices. Call us today to find out how we can help you resolve this issue.

Can you help me file a No Fee Lawsuit against Account Resolution Team?

Absolutely. You can sue a debt collector. Here is a sample complaint:

A complainant wrote on BBB.org that Account Resolution Team had agreed to delete any and all negative credit reporting for the complainant after the complainant paid their bill in full. After this agreement was made, Account Resolution Team, “refused to place this offer in writing”. It was after this dispute that the complainant contacted Account Resolution Team to ask whether they could pay the bill in dispute in full and have the negative credit report deleted from all three credit reporting agencies, simply reiterating the previous agreement. The representative of Account Resolution Team agreed with the complainant after speaking to his/her manager, and the deal was solidified to delete these reports after the payment was completed. The complainant then asked whether they could receive an email from Account Resolution Team to summarize this agreement for safety purposes in the case that the company failed to delete the accounts. The representative of the collections company claimed that the manager of the company would not put this agreement in writing, and claimed that there was no way to record this transaction. The complainant attempted to argue that an email would be simple and sufficient for the purpose of their agreement. The complainant feels as though the lack of commitment to a written transaction makes this collections company questionable and untrustworthy.
