I’ m getting calls and don’t have a card in hand, it’s been almost 3 years since I paid Gennis off and card expired and the started calling and I told them I had no card they failed to send. Now wanting a late fee. The refused to give me a account #, they have been caused in the pass reporting to credit bur.causing my scores to drop. This happened after the death of my son. I paid the annual fee, told them card had expired Genius stated a card was on the way, needless to say no card ever came, here I am again them wanting 99.00 plus late fee of 29.00 and no card. I want this closed w/out hurting my score. Please call me Monday 8/15.
Genesis has placed fraudulent charges on a line of credit from a retailer, Ashley Furniture. Gen says it is in a dispute status, but then placed it back into repayment status, charging interest. They will not provide any paperwork or information on how the charges appeared or where the money went and I contacted Atty Gen, the BBB, The Consumer Complaints, Genesis just reports they are working on it but refused to close the line of credit or reverse the fraudulent charges. Ashley Homes Stores has referred it to the legal attorneys but in the meantime I am being held responsible on my credit to pay them 3000 for items I never purchased nor did Ashley Home Store bill them. Customer Service will not help me. They just say they are working on it, it is total fraud and someone billed this and took the money but Genesis will not confirm anything or help.
