While Fay Servicing is not able to make empty threats to sue you or garnish your wages because it is illegal, it is not uncommon for debt collection agencies to summon debtors to court and garnish wages after a default judgement. Fay Servicing would likely choose not to sue you for a debt you may not owe or they cannot verify, but if they are able to do so it is best to stay on top of this discrepancy and gain access to an attorney. It is the wisest option to contact an attorney preemptively to ensure the safety of your assets and rights. Lemberg Law has helped thousands of consumers fight back against these cases of fraudulent collection practices. Call us today to find out how we can help you resolve this issue.
A complainant explains that they believe Fay Servicing is an incredibly unprofessional business. Fay servicing basically stole my home. They were outside of the statute of limitations and they fabricated the documents that they used. They didn’t even have the correct interest rate written down. They forged our signatures and told me they were modifying my loan who left they pursued a foreclosure. They violated ever collection act there is to violate. They stole the $250,000 of equity I had and my kids and I left our home with the clothes on our backs. I want to sue them. It’s not right to do that to families. I worked hard for that equity. Now we are homeless. With no way to survive and no home
