US Coachways TCPA Lawsuit Settlement – In lawsuits filed across the country, consumers allege that US Coachways Inc violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) by sending marketing text messages to wireless phone numbers without the recipients’ prior express written consent.

What is the US Coachways TCPA Lawsuit Class Action Settlement?

A $2.6 million settlement has been reached in a class action lawsuit alleging US Coachways Inc violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act by using an automatic telephone dialing system to send out the following text message to users without any prior consent: “USCOACH: Download USC App $25OFF Promo ‘uscapp’ http://usc.am/iPhone or http://usc.am/Android. Text Stop to stop or Help for help. Msg&data rates may apply.”

The Settlement affects certain individuals who received these text messages from US Coachways Inc between Feb. 6, 2017 and Aug. 7, 2017. If the Settlement is approved,  the thousands of eligible persons will receive an estimated cash award that is likely not to exceed $30 in cash or a voucher for $100, but could be substantially less.

If you chose NOT TO OPT OUT you are entitled to only the amount estimated above.

How do I improve my chances of getting more money?

Your best bet may be to opt out of the class and file a lawsuit on your own. You may be able to achieve a higher settlement than class members, and you’ll likely get your money sooner than class members. If Lemberg Law represents you, you won’t have to pay any fees unless we win on your behalf.

Know your legal rights. You could be entitled to much more if you have received a substantial number of text messages from US Coachways Inc.

Under the TCPA (Telephone Consumer’s Protection Act) you are entitled to damages of $500 up to 1,500 per call! This is money you could possibly receive only by opting OUT

Remember, time is of the essence.

If you’re a potential class member, there’s a deadline to opt out of the class settlement. In most cases, if you don’t opt out and don’t file a claim, you surrender your right to sue the defendant. Don’t miss this chance to get what you deserve
