What is Advanced Financial Company – AFC?
Premier Advanced Financial Corp. II d/b/a Advanced Financial Company (a/k/a Premier Advanced Financial Company II) (AFC) is a third-party auto and mortgage loan servicing company based in California. AFC has received consumer complaints alleging violations such as improper debt collection tactics. If you have been contacted by AFC, make sure you understand your rights before taking action.
According to the Better Business Bureau (BBB), and public information from the California Secretary of State’s website, Advanced Financial Company was founded in 1995 as a limited liability company, converted to a limited partnership in 2001, and then to a corporation with the name Premier Advanced Financial Corp. II in 2006, but continues to do business as Advanced Financial Company. The BBB established its profile page in 2008 and lists the company under its corporate name, Premier Advanced Financial Corp. II. The BBB lists AFC as a loan servicing and collection agency.
According to its website, Advanced Financial Company is “a leader in providing mortgage loan, auto loan and Homeowner’s Association (HOA) servicing, billing and payment processing, customer service and delinquency collections.” In the mortgage and auto loan area, AFC “services over 20 clients representing over $175,000,000 in combined portfolio balances and over 18,000 loans.” It also performs “HOA assessment billing and payment processing” for 25 properties, which represents “over $75,000,000 in HOA dues annually and servicing over 90,000 owners.”
Advanced Financial Company describes itself as the “total solution” for clients who need servicing on their loan portfolios and as a “customer service company first and foremost, a financial servicer second.” Its website provides information about its loan and “delinquency collection” services. Although the website includes portals to allow property owners and others to make payments online, the information on the website focuses almost entirely on companies that hold loans from consumers and contains little information for consumers themselves. More information is available by contacting AFC.
The Advanced Financial Company website does not provide a lot of detailed information about its business practices or compliance policies. It does include standard, legally mandated information about information privacy and security.

Advanced Financial Company AFC Calling You?
Understanding Your Debt Collection Rights
Consumers are protected from abusive debt collectors from the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). By way of instance, the debt collector must identify himself or herself, who they’re working for, and what debt they’re collecting. The FDCPA claims that debt collectors can’t use any deceptive or misleading representation, like implying the debt is secured by the USA or any particular state. Additionally, they can’t use a badge or uniform to pretend they’re a government employee collecting a debt. Misrepresentation is a violation of the FDCPA and could be reported as such.
In case you’ve been a victim of a debt collector’s wrongdoing, then you can search for justice under the FDCPA. You have the right to pursue a claim against the debt collector; if you prevail, you can collect up to $1,000, plus attorney fees and court costs.
