Here Are Some Complaints From Actual Consumers Listed on the BBB website

“Delivery Financial Services is negatively damaging my credit score and hurting my ability to rebuild my credit. I have been turned down for new credit due to this agency trying to show an account open and still attempting to collect a debt when they should be “Closed” $0 balance and listed in chapter 7 bankruptcy. By listing these 4 accounts as “open” on my credit reports they are attempting to still show they are collecting a debt which is a violation of Arizona Bankruptcy laws. I would like for this company to remove these 4 items or correct them with all 3 credit bureau agencies, my bankruptcy lawyer advised if they will not correct their mistakes, we will proceed with filing a suit against Delivery Financial Services.”

“Unreal, this place charged off an account that isn’t mine. I call in and the “superviser” starts raising her voice and starts yelling at me. Are you serious. Mad at me because you are sending letters to a place I don’t live.”

“Received a bill from this company and called to resolve. I gave them my account number & address which was on the bill, but they demanded my SSN & date of birth, neither of which I was willing to provide as I have no clue whom they are. The lady was EXCEPTIONALLY rude, demanding and overbearing and would not provide me any information regarding bill date, responsible party, original billing source, etc., then screamed at me that she’s putting it on my credit report and hung up on me. Subsequent to the call, I called back and left a message with someone who they advised was the owner.

I am going to file a lawsuit with the collection company if the item is not deleted off my credit report. I have sent Delivery Financial Services multiple certified letters disputing the account that was put on my credit report in the amount of $1,316. I have disputed this account with Trans union multiple times and they keep stating verified. I sent a letter to Delivery Financial Services 08/23/2018 and again 11/5/2013. This company is not following regulations when a consumer disputes the information they are reporting to Trans union. They did not mark my credit report disputed 30 days after 11/5/2013 . I sent all letters certified mail and I have all copies of my letters to this company as well as Trans union

Can Delivery Financial Services Sue Me or Garnish My Wages?

It is illegal for a debt collector to falsely threaten to sue you or garnish your wages. It is unlikely DFS would sue you for a debt you may not owe or they cannot validate. However, debt collection agencies are known to have summoned debtors to court and garnish wages after a default judgement. Contacting an attorney BEFORE this could possibly happen would be a smart move. We’ve helped thousands of consumers fight back against unscrupulous debt collection harassers. Delivery Financial Services Calling You?

Federal laws protect you. The Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA) regulates the behavior of collection agencies by prohibiting actions such as the use of abusive or threatening language; harassment; or the use of false or misleading information to collect a debt. The FCRA regulates how collection agencies and creditors report delinquent debts to credit reporting agencies. Additional consumer protection laws include the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and the Consumer Financial Protection Act (CFPA).

Can I sue DFS for harassment?

Yes. If you want to enforce your rights, or recover money for violations — you need to sue. Federal laws provide individuals like you with a means to seek monetary damages in court. What Our Clients are Saying

“As we discussed on the phone earlier today, this settlement is perfectly okay to me. I need to thank you and all of your cohorts at Lemberg Law to get a project handled so professionally. Please allow Amy, the first person who contacted me from Lemberg, know how much I appreciate her efforts, kindness, and professionalism.”

“I won’t be afraid to contact you or recommend your services to others for applicable legal issues. Please keep up the outstanding work you do, and again, thank you for helping me through this challenging time. I’m most grateful. I can not say thank you enough!”

“I received outstanding professionalism from the own staff. I had a horrible experience when trying to solve a debt. 1 debt collector associate said she would speak to the prosecutor’s office and another representative told me that when I called the office back he would call the police and have me arrested. I had been insulted, mocked, and threatened, and feared that the police would appear at my door any given moment.”

“I just wanted to let you know we received the check from your office on now and I wanted to take some time to inform you that we really appreciate all of your efforts in this matter.”
