According to the Better Business Bureau (BBB), Exeter Finance Corporation was founded and incorporated in 2006. The BBB established its profile page in 2009. Exeter is listed as a financial services and loan company.

According to its website, Exeter Finance Corporation works “with thousands of franchised dealers nationwide to make vehicle ownership possible for everyone.” The dealers Exeter represents “enjoy personalized service from dedicated buyers who help them find the right financing solutions for customers facing credit challenges.” For car buyers, Exeter acts as a “trusted partner in car ownership – one who guides them along the way…and provides tools to keep them informed.”

The car buyer pages encourage site visitors to purchase a car as “a positive step toward establishing a payment history that can impact your credit score.” Exeter provides “credit tips” such as paying bills on time, keeping balances low, and budgeting. They also offer a free, online Financial Improvement Training (FIT) resource. The FAQ page answers questions about account access, payments, insurance, payoffs, and titles.

The EFC website does not provide a lot of detailed information about its business practices or compliance policies. They do include standard, legally mandated information about information privacy and security.

Can you help me file a No Fee Lawsuit against Exeter Finance Corporation?

Absolutely. Here are some Sample Cases against Exeter Finance Corporation.

According to the BBB, complaints against Exeter Finance Corporation “are regarding billing issues, customer service issues and collection issues. Specifically, consumers complain that they are unable to resolve loan payment problems even after following the direction of company employees. Additionally, consumers complain about aggressive collection tactics.” The 26 negative reviews on Exeter’s BBB profile support these allegations.

In August 2017, a complainant indicated the Exeter Finance Corporation engages in “very predatory lending” practices. She alleged that EFC debited her bank account 4 times in one month even though only two payments had been authorized, resulting in an account overdraft. Despite having contacted EFC, she did not receive any response. She also indicated EFC applied payments unevenly toward interest rather than principle, making it very difficult to escape the loan and find other financing. She concluded by stating that EFC “is not very ethical and their customer service lacks. I find it strange they have an A+ rating with so many negative reviews from consumers.”

Also in August 2017, a complainant indicated her belief that the “A+ rating and stars do not accurately reflect consumer feedback on Exeter.” She alleged that Exeter Finance Corporation“ reports incorrect information to all credit bureaus repeatedly, consistently throughout the life of the loan.” They allegedly send inaccurate, conflicting, and inconsistent billing and accounting information, and sometimes even “bill incorrectly, overcharge, and do not resolve your account.” She also complained that EFC’s business model is designed to set up car buyers for failure, alleging that Exeter Finance Corporation pushes “loans for $35,000 on cars that are worth $9,000… and provides a different answer every time you call… to ask about a standard business process.” The complainant concluded by stating her belief that EFC is “in the business of making money off of a vulnerable population and repossessing cars… and that her concern is not only Exeter, it’s also for the BBB for supporting this business and a practice that is doing great harm to… their borrowers.” The complainant also sent “a copy of this posting to state and federal agencies.”

Exeter Finance Corporation EFC Calling You?

Federal laws protect you. The Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA) regulates the behavior of collection agencies by prohibiting actions such as the use of abusive or threatening language; harassment; or the use of false or misleading information to collect a debt. The FCRA regulates how collection agencies and creditors report delinquent debts to credit reporting agencies. Additional consumer protection laws include the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and the Consumer Financial Protection Act (CFPA).

But here’s the rub: If you want to enforce your rights, or recover money for violations — you need to sue. These laws provide individuals like you with a means to seek monetary damages in court. For example, the FDCPA allows consumers who have been violated to recover damages of up to $1,000, plus attorney fees and court costs.

I purchased my 2014 Lexus from CarMax for 19,000 and put 4,500 down. That equals to 14,500. I have been making payments of 500 a month, 30.00 over my payment amount (total of 9,000), yet they’re saying I owe 20,000 on the loan total.. the math ain’t mathin for me. I didn’t get anything extra but the GAP insurance, I understand there is sales tax etc but THIS JUST ISNT ADDING UP!! Seriously predatory loan, I have good credit so I am just going to take the hit and voluntary repossess the car because I won’t ever get this loaned paid off the way they’re charging.

I have an in hand contract for a full pay off to exeter finance on 7/29/2022, mind you the cars msrp was only $13000. I have paid into the car ytd $28,000. Without notice exeter repod the car on 8/10/2022, this impeded on an in process sale of the vehicle to Hyundai Motor Corporation, I was waiting for Hyundai to remove a hold harmless and power of attorney request for a lemon law issue. Exeter impeded on return of my payments of $18,589.77 and $12,481.43 in a total payoff. This was fine as long as the debt was cleared…. they then tried to extort me for an additional $2444 in order to get the car out of impound. I do not think it is acceptable due to them about to receive a FULL payoff. I have until the 9/24/2022 to pay them or lose everything in the car. Their repo agent is also videoed admitting to removing personal property, then destroying it, and stealing it BSIS has an investigation into Lightning Recovery USDOT 3571012 due to this. I WAS NOT CONTACTED AT ALL TO AVOID REPO WHILE IN PROCESS OF A SALE.

I not to long ago got financial help from Exeter, in mid October of 2021 I got a Lexus CT 200, nice car fell in love with it. Let just say best car I’ve every had, had right, it got repossessed this morning at 3:30 am, not only did they damage the car in the process of the repossession by hitting my car port post. The tow company’s damaged my yard and the neighbors yard dragging it out. Now this car is a low hatch back and I mean low. So It dragged all the way which caused damage to the from bumper. And from the car hitting the car port post it caused damage to the passenger side of the vehicle. Now for the Exeter part, this company that I’ve been making payments to since December HAVE NO RECORDS OF MY PAYMENTS . At all. I have email confirmation, I have proof it’s coming out of my account. I have everything yet they can’t do anything. Offers to give them my confirmation numbers and was told that would not help me since they have no records of payments made nor email receipts being sent. Was also told I could by lying and not paying the right Exeter. Which is incorrect. I have the proof. Was also told I can’t do anything about this because I’m not telling the truth. Let’s just say I’ve been cheated out of $1600 and I can’t even get a chargeback from my bank because they need paperwork from Exeter in order to investigate this matter closely. Could take months. Even then a law suit could also take months and the car will be sold at auction by then. I’m just losing hope and feel like I have no options.

Can we all get together and file a class action lawsuit for predatory lending. Santander recently settled for 550 million plus wiped the loan out and they kept the vehicle and some even received money.

I have a car thru Exeter Finance and I am a month late because of work layoffs, My question is can I sell the car myself in order to pay the 16k I owe them so is a clean payoff?

Exeter has been contacted numerous of times.I let them know the 2 people they are trying to collect payment from do not live at my address. We have never owned a 2017 Chevy Malibu. They keep lying saying they have removed their names and I should not be receiving any more mail from them. The mail has never stopped. These people are rude and never have been truthful about removing my address. This is a form of harassment them trying to collect money from 2 people who have never lived in my Moms house. This has been going on for years.I have called them so much until I am blue in my face.I received another letter today August 28 2021.

I financed a 2014 Nissan altima in 2017 at what i didn’t realize at the time was a 24.99% interest rate. Fast forward this is 2021 and after almost 4 years of 448.00 monthly payments. I still owe over 14k on a 15k loan. This can’t be right.

I was hit by Covid and lost my job last year. I just recently started working again in April and called Exeter to tell them my situation. I was behind on my two payments and set up a payment plan with Exeter. Just today they repossessed my car. They did not call or let me know it was happening. Nor did they knock at my door or leave any paperwork or let me get personal items out of my car. I had to call Exeter to find out that they towed my car and where it was towed to. I immediately paid my balance due on the phone in order to get the address of where my car is. I have had nothing but issues with Exeter and they have taken full advantage of me since I got my car and had no credit history.

I purchased a car through car max in 2015 due to a faulty Mercedes I had to return to Mercedes. The loan through car max was $41k, I’ve made payments for 6 years for $1083 a month. I’ve had 3 extensions in 6 years with difficulties and big hassles from Exeter financial. They’ve reported 16 late payments including the extension which was made in advance of the payments and they won’t update the payments monthly on the credit reports. I have not made a late payment in more then a year, as a matter of fact I sent 2 payments last month and I was charged $191 interest, which doesn’t make sense! 2 year ago I sent them 5 payments in advance and they held the money refusing to pay down my loan saying that they held the money for monthly payments. After 6 years my balance is still $23k how is this possible? I’ve asked for documentation showing the payments, all the payments are going to interest only! This is illegal practices! I never signed a doc to pay interest only for 6 years! I’d like to join a class action lawsuit against illegal practices or have an attorney review the original contract I signed with car max, i never signed a contract to be ripped off by Exeter financial! I’m hoping to get legal advise on how to proceed with stopping these illegal practices. If you’re a lawyer and need a good case pls don’t hesitate to contact me as well as all the list of people on this app for a resolution. Ty

Exeder Finance called for one of our employees. Last I knew it was illegal to call someones work place to harrass them as it may get them in trouble. So Yeah. The person they called about, i know is all good on his stuff, or at least he usually is. When i asked if i could take a message and i informed him this was his place of employment, they said it was a “Business Matter”. He doesnt do anything for the business that has to do with financing or purchasing of ANYTHING no office work for him, so this is BS and illegal tactics. It has nothing to do with where he works, so this was a personal matter with him alone, NOT our place of work. Our boss handles any financial things, and he’s not the boss.

Exeter financed me in October 2020 on a small car. Within 3 weeks I lost my job and wanted to return the car and void the sale, the car had only been driven a few miles and I hadn’t even received my first bill yet. Exeter came and got the car at my request that week. Agent on the phone said it would be “like a reversal” and I’d likely only owe some fees for the surrender costs. A month later, my credit gets hit with a Charge-Off for $6,728 and I get a letter saying my 1yo $13,000 car was only sold for $6,000 and I owe the difference. Had the Agent told me it’d be labeled a Repossession/Charge-Off and I’d be responsible for thousands of dollars due to them not reselling the car properly (or for what it was worth!) then I would have said nevermind & begged/borrowed/stolen the money to make payments until I found a new job!! What they tell people on the phone NEVER matches up to what they actually end up doing!

  • VICTORIA

I’ve had Exeter for two years. I paid on time until, I became sick I explained that told they would deferred but the still reported late to the credit bureau and called and threatened to repo. Now I’ve paid on time and I have a late payment can’t get in-touch with anyone. Made payments and the late payment is still there.

  • Alex W

We just got towed at 4am today even though we had made and agreement with exeter for this friday. They didnt give us any notice fornthe repo and they lied to us by saying we had tell the end of this month 27th. Is there anything we can do this is our only car and covid hit our finances hard and we dont know what to do so if there is anything please let us know we cant work without this car.

  • Roman

I have a loan with them with interest rate being 26%. How does the law let these bigots get away with such high interest rate? I have filed a complaint against them with BBB and depending on the answer they provide will go with attorney generals office and then take sue them for everything they own. They are a predatory company and the complete ripoff and they take advantage of people with low credit scores. They need to be put out of business for good and their CEO arrested and put in jail.

On August 27, 2020 The Governor of New Mexico had and still has of this date 09/17/2020 ha ban on repossessions and Exeter Finance repoed my car after I had tried to contact them but got a busy like signal and could never get through, they never sent a notice or tried to reach out to me as I had lost my job because of Covid and told them I would pay with my stipend as my husband had a drs apt that friday about 5 hours from where we live and he has bladder cancer but they still repoed it anyway with the ban in effect. I have been unable to find an attorney but my atty general sent them an email and now I do not know how to find out who the tow company was.

  • DonB

I had a vehicle financed with Exeter finance and during the pandemic of Covid-19 I lost employment do to it. Then my daughter came down with covid19 so she’s out of school and I have no job so I call Exeter finance to explain and the customer service representative was very rude and refused to help me so the so called CEO calls and I explained to him and he tells me how it will affect my credit if my payments aren’t made but fails to mention the higher interest rates on my account and offers me a extension so being without work and no unemployment benefits because that is a battle to I accepted the extension. So about a month and half goes by still no unemployment benefits I found a job so I call Exeter finance and explain that I won’t receive a check until the 18th of this month. Then last night at 9pm a tow truck shows up without notice to repo my vehicle and the driver never intended to let me get my personal belongings out of the vehicle so I rush out and tell him hey hold up I need my personal belongings before he towed it off and then I try explaining to him that I just talk to Exeter finance and they said I was all good as long as I paid them something on my first payday but he didn’t want to hear it and towed it off. So inclose I think that it was unlawful and Exeter finance is the worst company out there and I want to know if I have a case.

  • NSherman

this company has been overcharging us and put the blame on the state of Ohio and I called the Ohio attorney about this matter and i was told it was a lie and the president who was a joke who wanted me to call and which I did and he was useless and did not want to help me at they will charge me 25.00 bucks and it was not stated in my contract and they fell they can do whatever they want. I need help.

  • Dylisha G

I have had several issues with them as well. They sent me a statement with all of my payments. I only got behind a month or 2 in October 2018. Then I made payments when I could including keeping in touch with customer service. And I made extra payments to catch up my account. Within February 2019 to May 2019 I made 6 full payments of 427.50 which is a little over $2565 to be exact and they still told me I was a month behind. And I asked how when I sent in extra payments and they gave me a bs answer! Now my principal balance is $16,961.50. And according to their records I still owe them $7,925.22 and my pay off is $8341.60! I wish I never would have agreed to go with them. I never even knew my credit score with the company and had i known what I know now I would have never went with them! Please take my advice and do not go to this company.

PEOLE ARE FRAUD DONT APPLY PRINCIPAL BALANCES CORRECTLY! THEY CHAGE INTEREST FOR PRINCIPAL PAYMENTS WILL TRY TO REFINANCE. I HAVE MADE A TOTAL OF 7 PAYMENTS AND THEY TOLD ME IM CHARGED $7.59 PER DIEM(SUPERVISOR FROM EXETER INFORMED ME). DID THE MATH AND THAT TOTALS $235.29 MONTHLY. MIND YOU IVE PAID EARLY IF NOT ON TIME. SO $235.59*7=$1,647.03 IS THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF INTEREST AFTER THE 7 PAYMENTS.NOW MY MONTHLY IS $351.67 AND I MULTIPLY THAT BY 7 AND GET A TOTAL OF $2,461.69. NOW I SUBTRACT $2,461.69-$1,647.03= $814.66 THAT SHOULD BE APPLIED TO PRINCIPAL. MY TOTAL FINANCE WAS $12,720-$814.66(PRINCIPAL)= $11,905.34. I GAVE THEM $550 ON 4/22/2020 TO GOT TO MY PRINCIPAL AND $1,000 ON 5/19/2020 TO GO TO MY PRINCIPAL AS WELL. SO $11,905.34-$55O-$1000=$10,355.34 THIS IS THE AMOUNT THAT SHOULD BE POSTED IF I WAS TO PAY ON THE DUE DATE BUT EALRY PAYMENTS WERE MADE TO THE ACCOUNT SO IT SHOULD ACTUALLY BE LOWER THAN THAT. BUT MY BALANCE IS $10,427.15 AND I NOW HAVE A DUE DATE OF 9/17/2020 AND I HAVEN’T MADE PAYMENTS FOR JUNE JULY OR AUGUST. THEY ARE DEFERRING MY PAYMENTS WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION. IVE HAD TO CALL IN MULTIPLE TIMES REGARDING THE ISSURE AND NOTHING HAS BEEN RESOLVED. IVE SPOKEN TO MULTIPLE PEOLE INCLUDING SUPERVISORS ONLY 1 HAS AGREED TO WHAT THE FIGURES SHOULD LOOK LIKE ABOVE. WE PAY EARLY SO THAT WAY WE AREN’T CHARGED A HIGHER INTEREST RATE AND THATS WHAT I HAVE BEEN DOING SINCE THE BEGINNING.

I also was given Exeter as my fiancé option through gm my credit was poor so I was exited when Exeter was able to approve me the one thing my dealer forgot to mention in my purchase agreement was there is above and beyond my apr % an 11 dollar a day late fee no grace period one of the major things I asked my sales person was to reiterate my 15 day grace period so that if I had to be late on my payment to cover my rent I would not get in any trouble so you could see my surprise when after paying my loan for 5 years I get a call saying I have to pay them 10,000$ on a car that is now worth 2700$ I told them I can’t pay them they hung up on me and called me back a month later again trying to make a payment arrangement again I told them I can’t pay it come get the car they snapped back at me saying it wasn’t worth them picking up and they were just going to write it off leaving it to destroy my credit still sits on my credit to this day as a charge off I’m stuck with the car can’t sell it can’t junk it

I bought a 2016 Chevrolet cruze and because my credit is poor Exeter finance was one of the only options available. I have been late on payments before and they have tacked on so many late fees and I’ve tried to post date the payment where they move a month to the back and extend the loan. My payment is 380.00 a month with 24.99 percent Interest. The car I received was nice in the first 6 months but it soon became a money sucking unreliable vehicle. I have put well over 3000 dollars in repairs just to keep the car running and be able to get to work. Latley I have been off work on sick leave for minor surgery and fell behind on my payments. They call me 10 plus times a day sometimes and it’s always a different number either from Texas, Illinois and California. They are constantly calling me and my work schedule is 12 to 16 hour days monday thru Friday and I am never able to answer them. They have been asked not to harass me and was told I will make the payment as soon as I possibly can. I owe more then the car is worth by far and I see no end in sight. I feel like I’m drowning.

  • Renee B

I was also unfortunate enough to have a loan with these rip off artists that call themselves Exeter Finance Corp. I bought my car for $15,778.00 and put $2,000.00 down, making me finance $13,778. I made 72 payments of $338.04 which equals $24,338.88 plus my loan matured 8/30/19 and had to pay an additional $2,694.00 to protect my credit due to them saying that is what I still owed. My interest rate was 22% but somehow I ended up paying $27,032.88 for a 2011 Nissan Altima 2.5S. This company is definitely a purgatory lender. About 2-1/2 years into loan I got a little behind and let me tell you this company had no problem calling multiple times a day every day. They need to be shut down or need to be made an example of! I feel as though they owe me money after doing the math on what I have paid.

My husband was rear ended and our van ended up being totaled. We were financed through Exeter. Our insurance paid off $20,000 because the other party’s insurance would not return our calls. We still owe $5000 on the loan which we are waiting for GAP insurance to take care of. In the meantime we are trying to buy another car and our credit has taken a huge dive. It is still showing that we owe $25,000 on the van even though Exeter received the check weeks ago. In the meantime they have been charging us $15/day for a late payment and requesting that we still make our regular car payments. Exeter is also supposedly making money off of the parts of the van that are still viable. Is this legal? If the insurance that we pay monthly for paid and they are still wanting us to make payments, shouldn’t our van still belong to us? We do still have the title. Can we do to get them to stop charging us this insane interest on a car they know has been totaled and they have received $20,000 for and will be receiving more from GAP. We would really appreciate any advice you can give in this matter. Thank you!

I don’t understand this Finance Company. Looks like my loan isn’t going anywhere. Just last month I saw where they added money to my monthly bill that should not have been there and I called them on it. I actually have a clear and lien-free title to my vehicle, and probably should not even be paying for it because it’s their fault. They did repossess it because I didn’t pay it for 3 months after receiving the title pair. Is that legal? I just want to get out of this long and I don’t really know how because it’s predatory lending, the interest rate is ridiculous and there’s some kind of catch that I’m not getting and I want you guys to take a look at it for me.

In July of 2016 my ex wife fell behind on a car we had jointly signed for with Exeter. It was a 2012 Chevrolet Impala in good condition with around 100k miles. When they called and asked if they could come pick the car up she replied absolutely I’m not able to make the payment anymore. It was in the middle of the afternoon the recovery agent came to her house and she handed him the keys and was helpful in anything he needed, This should be considered a voluntary surrender correct? The problem just began there. We were soon notified the car would be sold and amount applied to our balance. I believe the amount they sold it for was around $2000 the value of the car was well above that. Since then they reported to two of the credit bureau the account was charged off and closed January 2017 with a balance of $11,700. With the third bureau the report it charged of but not closed so the amount of times late increase monthly. They also have changed the payment history , status of the account, and comments on the account 12 times between December 2018 and February 2019. Also reports the date major delinquency first reported as the current month and year. Making the charge of seem current and not allowing it to age. All this constantly negatively affects my wife and my credit scores. I have tried to dispute the accuracy and completeness of the info the provide but all the credit bureaus do is ask Exeter if the information is correct then close the dispute. Most recently I decided I would complain to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. (What a waste). In there response to the complaint Exeter states that we made 28 payment and 4months extension. And that 13 of our 28 payments were more than thirty days late. But they never reported any of these and I have monthly billing statements showing the account was never late until July 2016. They also report on their customer portal that the balance is $9651.62 when I mentioned that they said that was principal balance before interest and fees however I have received 5 bills from a debt recovery agency they hired all 5 said amount owed was $9651.62. On a 14,700 loan after making 28 payment of 361 a total of $10,108. They claimed I still owed 13,300 when car was surrendered. That’s only $1,400 paid off in 2-1/2 years. Is there anyway to make them report this account correctly and stop using my credit report to harass and inflict harm to me and my wife??????

  • Thomas p

I have been paying in my suv for over 4 years and the principle has not change. We have tried talking to the company with no answers. Have asked for paperwork for the bill and payments. But Exeter hasn’t sent anything. They claim to have been calling but haven’t received any calls. They recently reposed the suv with no calls.

  • Jordan W

Now I owe money and have fallen behind a bit on payments and I’m making them up. This was due to lay offs at an old employer. They proceeded to call me 4-5 times a day even when I asked them not to contact me during work hours. They even indicated during a call that they “knew I had told them not to call during work hours” but still decided to continually call and call. It’s driving me to my wits end. I’m not sure if I actually have a legal case against them.

I got a car in August of 2016 and payments are about 387 a month and i have made 20 payments had a couple deferred and few late and even if i was late most of my payments per the “$19” late charge that is only a little over $300. So here is my issue after 20 payments of $387 that equals $7740. But yet they show my beginning financed amount as $11,685 and my balance due $10,367.78. That makes absolutely no sense to me. I asked for print out of where my payments went and still waiting. I saw a review on your site where someone said most their payments went to interest and that is my concern. My credit score is heavily impacted by this as well and i want to know where all my money went since it seems my car is not being paid off with what i am seeing. PLEASE help.

I bought a car from a local dealership and had my loan picked up by Exeter. Interest was very sketchy to the point the salesman said pay on time 6 times and finance your loan with someone else. I should have known… Didn’t take his advice and tried to tuff it out. I had a mean account manager who screwed me over on my loan. I got it deferred and all my troubles begin… I sent money to this company when they told me I didn’t pay for months. They were very slick in by not allowing me to pay online and I had to send it in… for some reason no record was noted that I sent money in around the time they said I didn’t pay for three months. My car was repoed for a balance so called under 2K. Its ridiculous that they sold me car off and declared me a repo because of their mistake. I know I paid and I didn’t go no 3-6 months with no payments. True enough i fail on some hard times for a month or so but it wasn’t worth taking my car and messing up
My credit. Now they call me atleast 3-5 times a Day morning and night like
I have money to pay them when they screwed me. They called when I had the car like
Crazy and threaten me like me like I was a kid we are going to take your car. These people go after people with a bad credit rating then treat people wrong when they sign a loan with them. People fall on hard times then they take it fast sell
It and call you like crazy. Help people out before you try to ruin them both ways. I really liked my car man!!

I was in an accident, I did not have proper insurance so I needed to come up with around 9,000 for repairs. I was in the process of saving the money, and received a letter the following month after the accident saying that my car was repossessed and at an auction in Indiana and my possessions were in another town in Illinois. I received no prior notice, and have never been late or missed a payment with them. I called to find out what happened they told me they repossessed it because, they were told by the repair shop that I left the vehicle. I asked them what I could do to get my car back, they told me to pay 3,275 dollars before the car was scheduled to be auctioned the following week. I asked the rep if the car was repaired, initially they would not give me any information about the status of the car. After I called about 4 times that same day in the finally conversation, I was told the car was “ready to go and drivable.” So I made arrangements to pay them the following week a few days before the scheduled auction. I called to pay, and I reconfirmed with another rep, the status of the car and told them I did not want to pay the fee if the car is in the same condition as the night of the accident. Once again I was told the car was drivable, so I paid the few and arranged for a tow company to bring it from Indiana back to Illinois. I received the car in October and it is not drivable at all and it is unsafe for the road. I have asked Exeter to refund the fee I paid for the car, because that is not what we agreed on, in return voluntarily give the car up. They are not willing to do that. They insist that I continue to pay the loan on the car and will not return my payment.
Every time I call I speak to a different rep who I have to explain the whole situation to again each time, they even ask me why they repossessed my car if I am up to date with payments every time I call. No one can explain to me where on my account the fee is stated as paid as well as a statement on exactly where all my payments have gone, the last time I spoke to them they claimed that the fee was given back to me, which my checking account says differently.

I would like to take legal actions on the grounds that I made an agreement to retrieve the car under the conditions that it was drivable, and it was and still is not. As well as fraudulent charges under the grounds that my payments are not being properly applied to my account. I also would like them to be responsible for my possessions lost when they repossessed my car without prior notices, as well as the money I paid to get it back here. And the constant harassment and confusion going on within the company, they want to over look there crooked practices and continue to get money from me.

Exeter Finance repossessed my car and sold it without allowing me the opportunity to pay the cost to recover. Now they are harassing me to pay it off and I have a negative credit reporting
