Nth Degree Data Breach: What Happened & What You Should Know

Lemberg Law is investigating a data breach involving Nth Degree, a Georgia-based company. If you received a notice, your sensitive personal information may have been compromised. Here’s what we know—and how to protect yourself.

How Did This Happen?

Nth Degree reports that between December 12 and December 20, 2024, an unauthorized party accessed its network. On March 24, 2025, after completing a forensic investigation and manual document review, the company confirmed that personal data had likely been exposed.

Exposed Information

According to the company’s notice, the following types of information may have been accessed:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Driver’s license number
  • Passport number
  • Medical information
  • Health insurance information
  • Other sensitive personal data

Nth Degree Response

Nth Degree says it immediately worked to secure its network once suspicious activity was discovered. The company engaged external cybersecurity experts to investigate and is now offering:

  • Twelve months of free credit monitoring through TransUnion
  • Fraud assistance and remediation services via Cyberscout, a TransUnion company

The company has also committed to reviewing and updating its internal security controls.

What You Should Do

If Nth Degree notified you:

  • Consider enrolling in credit monitoring
  • Place a fraud alert or credit freeze with all three credit bureaus to reduce identity theft risk
  • Check your credit reports for unusual or suspicious activity
  • Monitor insurance claims and medical records for signs of fraud
  • Keep all documentation related to this breach in case legal remedies become available
