Lemberg Law Announces $1,250 Law School Scholarship

Lemberg Law Managing Partner Sergei Lemberg knows the challenges immigrants face when pursuing a graduate degree in the U.S. When he was 15, Lemberg arrived in the U.S. as a refugee from the former Soviet Union. Ultimately, he received his undergraduate degree from Brandeis University and his juris doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. “It was hard to come to a new country and navigate the higher education system,” he said. “But I knew that the U.S. is the land of opportunity, and I was determined to make the most of the opportunities presented to me.”

Lemberg’s personal experience fuels his desire to help immigrants who are following in his footsteps, which is why his firm has announced the launch of the Lemberg Law “Land of Opportunity” Law School Scholarship. The $1,250 scholarship will be awarded to a student who is an immigrant to the U.S. will be enrolled full time in law school during the 2018-2019 school year.
