Palo Verde Hospital Data Breach: What Happened?

What Happened?

Between March 3 and March 6, 2025, unauthorized actors accessed and possibly exfiltrated files from Palo Verde Hospital’s IT systems. The breach caused operational disruptions and triggered an immediate investigation with third-party forensic experts. PVH has since notified law enforcement and initiated a detailed review to determine whose information was involved.

What Information was Exposed?

The data compromised in the breach may include:

• Full name and contact details
• Social Security number
• Date of birth and demographic information
• Medical record and patient account numbers
• Diagnosis, treatment, and prescription information
• Dates of service and provider names
• Health insurance details
• For some, financial account and routing numbers
