Lemberg Law is investigating the data breach at Kelly & Associates Insurance Group, Inc. (“Kelly Benefits”), which may have exposed sensitive personal information of individuals enrolled in employee benefit plans. If you received a notice from Kelly Benefits, your private data may be at risk.
What Happened?
Kelly Benefits discovered suspicious activity in its systems in December 2024. A forensic investigation later revealed that hackers accessed company files between December 12 and December 17, 2024. The unauthorized party copied and extracted certain files containing private information.
On March 3, 2025, Kelly Benefits confirmed that some individuals’ data had been compromised and began issuing notification letters to those affected.
What Personal Details Were Exposed?
The exposed data varies by individual, but may include:
- Full name
- Social Security number
- Date of birth
- Benefits enrollment data
- Contact details
- Health plan or employment-related information
