Are you receiving Earth Fare text spam? Our firm is receiving complaints from consumers who are receiving Earth Fare texts without their consent. If you texted “EAT” to 71700, the idea of getting coupons and sales alerts might have been appealing. If you like receiving Earth Fare texts, that’s great. But if you asked them to stop sending texts and are still getting spammed, that’s another story.

Earth Fare is an organic food supermarket headquartered in North Carolina with 37 locations in the U.S. The company prides itself on making healthy foods accessible and to avoid stocking products that contain high fructose corn syrup, trans fats, and synthetic growth hormones. In addition to groceries, Earth Fare supermarkets may feature cafes and juice bars.

Eating healthy is a great way to live, but a healthy respect for the law is also important. The federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and the Federal Communications Commission regulate what businesses can and cannot do with respect to text messages.

For example, the law says that a company must have your permission to send you a text. It also forbids businesses from sending additional text messages once you’ve asked them to stop. When a company keeps texting you after you’ve told them not to, you can sue in federal court for $500 to $1,500 per text.

If you’ve been receiving unwanted Earth Fare text messages, Lemberg Law can help. Call our office at 475-277-2200 for a free case evaluation.
