Can you help me file a No Fee Lawsuit against Bison Recovery Group?

Absolutely.  You can sue a debt collector. Here is a Sample Case Complaint:

Complaints against Bison Recovery Group cite problems resulting from disputes about billing and accounting, as well as complaints about hostile and aggressive collection practices. In December 2017, a complainant stated that he “had a settlement agreement with BRG in the amount of $840.63… and that BRG withdrew $840.63 out of his…checking account, at which… point, the agreement was fulfilled.” Subsequently, BRG “withdrew the same amount ($840.63) … without his permission after the debt was already settled.” The complainant stated that his checking account is his “primary bill pay account and that… BRG’s withdrawal resulted in his account having a negative balance due to a scheduled bill pay that he had arranged with his other creditors.” The complainant stated that he was “currently being assessed overdraft charges from his bank due to BRG double charging him after a settlement was already processed.” In response, BRG stated that “indeed a banking error did occur.” BRG advised the complainant that they had “fixed the error… and that if the complainant incurred any bank charges, BRG would take care of those.” BRG stated they had forwarded “proof…that the amount was reversed,” but said the complainant had not sent them any bank statements showing that his bank had charged overdraft fees.

In November 2017, a complainant stated that she had been contacted by BRG by a representative who was looking for her son. Initially, she told them they had the wrong number. After further questioning, she told them the person they were trying to reach was her son but also said that she did not want to get involved. After the initial contact, she called her son asking if he was familiar with BRG. He allegedly said he was not. The complainant called BRG and told them her son was not familiar with them; that she refused to pass their number along to him; and that she wanted her number removed from their database. Allegedly, the BRG representative threatened her with a lawsuit and “became unspeakably rude.” The complainant said “he was a very nasty person.” In response, BRG confirmed the complainant’s story and agreed the representative had conducted himself unprofessionally. Bison Recovery Group closed the account and administered “disciplinary action…to the employee for not conducting himself in a professional manner.”

Bison Recovery Group Calling You?

Bison recovery group has been calling me about a debit on my credit card. I asked them for an address to send in payments as i could, but they told me take no mail in payments and they had no mailing address. I have found this web site and an address, so they did lie about not having an address.

I have received multiple calls from BRG, looking for a person who I do not know. I have repeatedly told them to stop calling my number, that I do not know the person they are looking for. They say they will update their records but they never do and I keep getting called. They use robo call and caller ID spoofing. I have filed a formal complaint against them with the FCC for caller ID spoofing.

Bison Recovery Group is attempting to collect a debt on a credit card I had. I have asked them several times to send me a written letter identifying all the pertinent info regarding said debt. Brandon said as soon as I gave him my debit card info to set up a payment arrangement he would send me written notice. Also, they contacted my landlord of ALL people. I don’t have any idea how they got my landlords number either. What do I do?
